What to know
Patek Philippe created the Ref. 5531G-012 for its Watch Art Grand Exhibition in Milan, limiting the white-gold World Time Minute Repeater to five pieces. A Grand Feu cloisonné-enamel dial depicts central Milan by day, with Italian city names around the 24-hour ring. The 40.2mm case and repeater slide are hand-guillochéd with a hobnail pattern, while skeletonised lugs lighten the architecture.
Its self-winding R 27 HU calibre couples World Time with a minute repeater that strikes the local time shown at 12 o’clock. The 452-part movement runs at 3Hz and offers a stated 43-to-48-hour power reserve from its 22-carat gold micro-rotor. The watch is humidity- and dust-protected rather than water-resistant and comes on a light-brown calfskin strap.
