What to know
Renaud Tixier’s first watch has undergone its biggest transformation yet. Announced on October 20, the Monday Skeleton trades the earlier dial for an open view of its new RVI2025 automatic calibre. Petrol-blue framing, matching openworked hands and a blue small-seconds track provide just enough colour to navigate the intricate mechanical architecture.
The remarkable winding system is preserved: a platinum micro-rotor contains a supplementary flywheel and spring, nicknamed the Dancer, designed to recover movement efficiently from the wearer's wrist. Skeletonisation makes the mechanism and 262 hand-finished parts visible, including 238 meticulously executed inward angles. The movement beats at 2.5Hz and holds at least 72 hours of power.

The hand-engraved 18-carat grey-gold case measures 40.8mm across and 12.6mm thick, with 30m water resistance. Just 15 petrol-blue examples are planned, alongside 15 green watches. Contemporary launch coverage lists CHF 129,000 before tax. This is a genuine new mechanical interpretation, not simply a fresh dial colour.
