What to know
The black HBC001 brings Seiko’s 1968 Heritage Diver GMT into a higher-specification generation. Its 42mm steel case surrounds a black dial and ceramic 24-hour bezel, with a gold-coloured GMT hand introducing a restrained contrast. Water resistance rises to 300 metres, while the bracelet clasp offers six adjustment steps across approximately 15mm.
Automatic calibre 6R54 displays two time zones and provides about 72 hours of power reserve. Sapphire crystal, LumiBrite, a screw-down crown and a unidirectional bezel complete the diving specification. At 13.3mm thick and 48.6mm lug to lug, this remains a substantial travel diver rather than a slim everyday GMT. Seiko lists the US price at $1,800.
