What to know
The HBC002 is the green counterpart to Seiko’s upgraded 1968 Heritage Diver GMT. Its green dial and ceramic 24-hour bezel are paired with a gold-coloured GMT hand, retaining the broad, functional geometry of the 1968-inspired case. The steel bracelet gains a six-step clasp with about 15mm of adjustment for changing wrist conditions.
The 42mm case is 13.3mm thick and water-resistant to 300 metres. Automatic calibre 6R54 offers a second time-zone display, hand winding, hacking seconds and approximately 72 hours of reserve. Sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown and LumiBrite reinforce the tool-watch brief. Seiko’s listed European price is €1,900.
