TUDOR Royal turns green: the new 40mm day-date with integrated bracelet

Tudor's Royal has always occupied the space between a classical day-date and a modern integrated-bracelet sports watch. For 2026 the line gains sharper case details, contemporary dial colours and new Manufacture movements. Reference M2840D1A0-0003 is particularly striking: its sunburst green dial, applied Roman numerals and full-width day window at noon give the 40mm model a distinctive personality.

The notched steel bezel now has more sharply defined polished edges. Tudor has also revised the lugs and first links to reduce contact and abrasion, while the integrated five-link bracelet gains a practical T-fit clasp. These are small design changes with a considerable impact on the watch's overall coherence.

Under the dial is Tudor's COSC-certified automatic Manufacture Calibre MT5633, regulated to -2/+4 seconds daily and providing approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The 11.4mm steel case is rated to 100m. The result is a polished but usable everyday watch, different in purpose and style from the brand's dive-led Black Bay range.
