What to know
Belgian independent L’Artisan developed the Arabic Mosaic around a natural mother-of-pearl dial arranged in a geometric pattern inspired by Arab Sadu weaving and Islamic ornament. Blue, violet and silver tones shift with the light, while Eastern Arabic numerals complete the dial. The collaboration with collector and designer AZ is housed in a 38mm stainless-steel case with a domed sapphire crystal, exhibition caseback and grey suede strap.

The watch is powered by the automatic HZ5000A micro-rotor calibre, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a stated 42-hour power reserve. It supports hand winding and stop-seconds adjustment. L’Artisan listed the model at €895; the official product page currently marks it sold out. The maker notes that the natural material gives every dial its own pattern and colour.
