What to know
Watch colour often claims to reflect a city, but Zenith's Chronomaster Original Paris Edition is unusually specific. The dial takes the verdigris shade of oxidised copper roofs and domes and uses a darkening gradient to add depth around its tone-on-tone chronograph subdials. Set within a 38mm steel case inspired by the 1969 A386, the result is refined rather than conspicuous.
The high-frequency El Primero 3600 sends its central chronograph hand once around the dial in ten seconds for a one-tenth-second reading. It has 60 hours of power reserve, a 5Hz beat and an exhibition back engraved ÉDITION PARIS with a unique number. The steel bracelet includes the new ZENCLASP; an extra black nubuck strap offers a quieter alternative. Just 50 pieces were allocated to the French market.
