BOLDR Venture Blue Moon turns the entire dial into a night-time display

BOLDR timed the Venture Blue Moon for the super blue moon of 31 August 2023. Its defining element is a full-lume BGW9 dial that glows blue in darkness, leaving the black hands and printed numerals in high contrast. The 38mm titanium case is worn on a black polyester strap with titanium PVD hardware.

Inside is a Seiko Instruments NH38A automatic movement, chosen here without a date display so the luminous dial remains uninterrupted. The field watch also has a flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown positioned at four o’clock and 200 metres of water resistance. Thickness is 12mm and the lug-to-lug measurement is 44mm.
