What to know
The Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar 26674CD.OO.1225CD.01 is an experiment in making colour structural. Rather than limiting the original Royal Oak's historic Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50 to its dial, Audemars Piguet gives the 41 mm octagonal case and integrated bracelet a matching blue-ceramic surface.
The calendar runs on automatic Calibre 7138, whose all-in-one crown system sets the indications without the traditional battery of recessed correction pushers. Day, date, month, leap-year and moon-phase indications sit across a blue Grande Tapisserie dial, accompanied by a week scale.
The contrasting pale bezel fasteners still map out Gérald Genta's original eight-part rhythm. But against the near-monochromatic ceramic, the polished bevels, matte brushing and repeating bracelet shapes become more important than ever. Launched in February 2026, it shows how the Royal Oak's form can survive a radical change of material.
