What to know
Bremont’s Terra Nova 40.5 Jumping Hour Burgundy adds a sunray lacquered dial to the collection’s original open-face layout. The hour and minute apertures sit together at nine o’clock, while a luminous central seconds hand sweeps across the dial. Its polished-and-brushed 904L-steel case measures 40.5mm by 47mm and is 10.15mm thick.

The exclusive BC634AH automatic calibre was developed with Sellita and uses a high-torque module to advance the hour display in less than one-tenth of a second. Bremont’s technical table lists 29 jewels, a 4Hz frequency and a 54-hour reserve. Water resistance is 100 metres. Reference TN40-JH-SS-BG-L-S comes on colour-matched leather and is listed at £3,500.
