What to know
Bremont created the Terra Nova Jumping Hour 1776 for the 250th anniversary of the United States. The 40.5mm cushion-shaped 904L-steel case frames a grained blue dial marked “1776”, with hour and minute apertures at nine o’clock, a luminous central seconds hand and star motifs worked into the minute track.

Its BC634AH automatic calibre was developed with Sellita and changes the hour disc in less than one-tenth of a second. The movement runs at 4Hz and supplies a stated 56-hour reserve. Water resistance is 100 metres, and the back depicts an eagle above a stars-and-stripes field. Reference TN40-JH-SS-BL-1776-B is limited to 250 pieces and priced at £4,000 on the steel bracelet.
