What to know
Bulgari has recast the Octo Finissimo in a 37mm case, and reference 104089 is the purest expression of the new proportions. Its sandblasted titanium case, bracelet and grey dial preserve the line’s monochrome, architectural character, while the smaller footprint answers years of requests from collectors who admired the 40mm model but found its broad, flat stance difficult to wear.

The newly developed automatic BVF 100 is only 2.35mm thick and uses a platinum micro-rotor. It runs at 3Hz and delivers a 72-hour power reserve despite a 20% reduction in movement volume. The complete watch is 6.45mm thick, offers 30 metres of water resistance and uses a redesigned push-button clasp. Bulgari listed the US price at launch at $16,600.
