What to know
Casio's tactical-colour MUDMASTER GWG-B1000-1A3 makes no attempt to hide its military-inspired character. An olive bio-based resin strap, sand-tan dial accents and black protective casework borrow their palette from field equipment, while the oversized guards and textured controls prioritize operation in rough conditions.
The engineering is more important than the colour. Tough Solar quartz drives an analogue-digital display backed by Bluetooth, Multi Band 6 radio correction and Casio's Triple Sensor system: digital compass, barometer and altimeter, plus thermometer. Mud, shock and vibration resistance are part of the design brief, alongside a sapphire crystal and 200m water resistance. Following an initial Japanese release in September, this GWG-B1000 colourway reached European listings in October 2026. It is very much a real outdoor instrument, albeit one with substantial 58.7 Γ 52.1mm proportions.
