What to know
The Twelve X Black Shadow recasts Christopher Ward’s integrated skeleton watch in matte black. Its 12-sided steel case and bracelet receive a diamond-like-carbon coating, while sapphire crystals above and below expose the bridges, twin barrels and winding system of the openworked movement. Rhodium hands and the minute ring carry Grade X1 Super-LumiNova to preserve legibility against the dark architecture.

The 41mm case is 12.3mm thick, measures 44.5mm lug to lug and is water-resistant to 100 metres. Christopher Ward’s automatic CW-001/AXC calibre uses 31 jewels, runs at 4Hz and delivers a five-day, 120-hour power reserve from twin mainspring barrels. It is COSC certified to −4/+6 seconds per day. Production is limited to 150 pieces, with the DLC steel-bracelet version listed at €5,895.
