What to know
The LVDB-03 Louis Varius project brings De Bethune and Louis Vuitton together around a 45 mm GMT wristwatch in thermally blued grade 5 titanium. Its multi-level dial combines a starry titanium centre, gold-leaf Milky Way, date indication and spherical day-night display, extending De Bethune’s celestial language into a travel-focused piece.

The wristwatch uses calibre DB2507LV and can be placed into a modern Sympathique clock developed with La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. When docked, the clock periodically resynchronises the watch and rewinds it over ten hours. Announced on 2 February 2026, the project comprises ten standalone wristwatches and two complete watch-and-clock sets, making it as much an experimental horological system as a conventional limited edition.
