What to know
Formex has reworked its Essence 39 without changing the watch’s basic character. The 39mm steel case remains compact at 45.5mm lug-to-lug, with the brand’s spring-mounted Case Suspension System and 100 metres of water resistance. A new screw-down crown strengthens its everyday credentials. Blue, Alpine White and Radiant Bronze dials share the collection’s horizontal CNC-cut grooves, applied markers and BGW9 Super-LumiNova.

Inside is Sellita’s COSC-certified SW200-2 Power+, running at 4Hz with a 65-hour power reserve. The steel bracelet now uses a butterfly clasp developed with Dexel, offering 3mm and 6mm extensions without removing the watch. Launch pricing was CHF 1,470 on a strap and CHF 1,570 on the bracelet, with orders opening on 27 August 2026.
