What to know
Franck Muller created the Vanguard Altea specifically for Latin America, using the familiar curved Vanguard case as the setting for a more restrained women’s collection. Deep-blue and soft-beige sunray dials carry hand-painted and hand-applied numerals, producing dimensional shadows as the tonneau case catches the light.

The cases are set by hand with diamonds in Franck Muller’s Geneva workshops. Matching alligator straps, made in Switzerland, follow the case curvature and continue each dial’s colour language. Announced on 8 May 2026, Altea is not a single universal reference but a regional two-colour collection. Its appeal lies less in a new complication than in the careful coordination of dial finishing, gem setting, strap colour and the ergonomic Vanguard silhouette.
