What to know
Girard-Perregaux marked Geneva Watch Days 2026 with a mechanical statement piece for its Laureato Fifty family. The new 39mm Tourbillon Micro-Rotor places a visible tourbillon at six o’clock on a blue Grand Feu enamel dial decorated with a Clous de Paris motif.
The shape of the tourbillon's cage references Girard-Perregaux's historic lyre architecture, while the intricate dial retains the instantly recognizable integrated-bracelet geometry of the Laureato.

Its automatic GP8410 calibre runs at 3Hz and offers 72 hours of power reserve. A micro-rotor made from platinum and pink gold winds the movement without obstructing the open view through the sapphire display back. The stainless-steel case measures just 10mm thick and resists water to 50 metres.
Reference 99116-11-3528-1CM is the blue enamel version, offered alongside an 18K gold-dial sibling. It demonstrates that contemporary high watchmaking can still fit into the well-proportioned architecture of a steel sports watch.
