What to know

Bart and Tim Grönefeld's more approachable label GRØNE Oldenzaal introduces the Horologium in two personalities: Something Quirky and Something Classic. The first uses Dutch orange, powder-blue accents and a matching blue strap; the second chooses a restrained salmon sunray dial and darker leather. Both models share a thoughtfully layered small-seconds subdial, heat-blued hands and polished applied markers.

The refined 39 mm stainless-steel case measures 10 mm thick and 47 mm lug-to-lug. A satin-brushed caseband contrasts with polished bezel and back, while characteristic orange gaskets beneath front and rear sapphire crystals inject a playful Dutch detail. The watch is water-resistant to 50 metres.

A Swiss La Joux-Perret hand-wound movement replaces the automatic convenience of everyday sports watches with the ritual of winding. It provides 60 hours of power reserve, 29 jewels and finishing visible through an exhibition back, including Geneva stripes, blued screws and decorated bridges. On the Quirky edition, a Dutch home-sweet-home proverb appears on the underside of the rear crystal.
