Hanhart makes the hardened Preventor more compact at 36mm

Hanhart has reduced the Preventor HD12 to 36mm for a collaboration with Russell, known as the MAD Watch Collector. The matte Black Forest-green dial, cathedral hands and historical logo keep the design recognisably Hanhart, while a broad 20mm lug width gives the smaller case extra visual presence.

The case and optional bracelet use Hanhart’s HD12 hardened steel, rated up to 1,200 HV. A screw-down crown, sapphire crystal and 15 ATM water resistance support its everyday tool-watch brief. Inside, the automatic Sellita SW200-1 provides hacking seconds and at least 38 hours of reserve.

Production is limited to 200 numbered pieces across leather-strap and bracelet configurations. The result is not simply a scaled-down model: its compact proportions and unusually wide stance give the Preventor a distinct identity within Hanhart’s field-watch family.
