What to know
Hermès is adding Bleu de Malte and Blanc Chantilly versions to its H08 sports-watch family, according to Hodinkee’s 14 October reporting. Both use a braided glass-fibre composite case with an aluminium coating, without the slate dust used on earlier versions. Blue or white ceramic bezels distinguish the pair, with orange details linking them to the house’s familiar palette.

The cushion-shaped cases measure 39mm by 39mm and house the automatic H1837 movement produced for Hermès by Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. The report specifies a 50-hour power reserve and 10-bar water resistance. The blue model has a textured rhodium-plated dial; the white version uses white lacquer. Both are reported at US$8,600, with no numbered-edition limit stated.
