Mercier Prototype Passage GMT Green opens a small new preorder run

Mercier Prototype is reopening orders for its Passage GMT after the earlier prototype allocation sold out. The green-dial watch pairs a conventional round steel case with a dark 24-hour bezel and an unmistakably vivid sunray dial. White applied indices, a framed date window and a bright green arrow-shaped GMT hand make the design highly legible and recognisable.

The 40.5 mm case is paired with a polished-and-brushed steel bracelet and a sapphire crystal. Inside, the brand's MP921DT automatic calibre provides a true traveller-style GMT: the local hour hand can be set independently when crossing time zones, without disrupting the second time display. A bidirectional 24-hour bezel brings further flexibility, and water resistance is stated at 100 metres.

The next batch has only fifteen preorder places per dial across green, red and aqua, making forty-five places in total. Each example is to be individually numbered. The price is $825; the brand estimates delivery possibly before Christmas 2026, otherwise in early 2027. This is a genuine open preorder but not a guaranteed 2026 shipping date.
