What to know
Mido introduced the Multifort 8 Two Crowns in March 2025, with a distinctive eight-faceted external bezel and a separate rotating 60-minute scale placed under the sapphire crystal. A crown at two o’clock moves the timing flange, while the second crown handles time and date. The arrangement makes a familiar mechanical tool unusually architectural.
The stainless-steel case is 40mm across and approximately 9.5mm thick, with 100-metre water resistance. The automatic Caliber 72 provides a claimed 72-hour reserve and a Nivachron balance spring. Available versions include the blue dial on matching rubber and darker variants on bracelet.

Instead of leaning entirely on vintage diving imagery, Mido sets the old internal-bezel concept in a deliberately contemporary case. The polished and brushed planes, recessed dial texture and paired crowns make function part of the exterior composition.
