What to know
MING and J.N. Shapiro’s 37.06 Lightning brings two independent workshops together on a single dial. Shapiro’s Los Angeles team engine-turns Grade 2 titanium on a traditional rose engine using a new Lightning guilloché pattern. The dial then travels to Kuala Lumpur, where Ming Thein colours it with a handheld torch. No paint or lacquer is involved, and the shifting bronze, blue, purple and orange result differs on every watch.

The 38mm steel case measures 10.9mm thick and 44.5mm lug to lug, with 100 metres of water resistance. A domed sapphire crystal carries luminous HyCeram indices. Inside, the manual-wind Sellita for MING SW210.M1 has skeletonised bridges and approximately 42 hours of reserve. Production is capacity-limited rather than numerically capped, with the launch price reported at CHF 6,250 excluding tax.
