What to know
Ressence’s Type 11 marks a major mechanical step for the Antwerp-founded watchmaker. Its Ressence Werk RW-01 is the brand’s first in-house movement, created specifically to drive the ROCS 11.1 orbital display. On the Latte version, the hours, minutes, seconds and power reserve are arranged across a convex Grade 5 titanium dial in pale neutral tones, with blue and orange accents adding contrast.

The self-winding calibre runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers 60 hours of power reserve. Ceramic micro-balls form the patented reserve indication, while winding and time-setting are handled through a lever on the caseback. The polished Grade 5 titanium case measures 41mm by 11mm, weighs 49 grams with strap and buckle, and is water-resistant to 30 metres. Ressence lists the Type 11 Latte at €30,500 including VAT.
