Vacheron Constantin Overseas Ultra-Thin: platinum, salmon and 7.35mm

Vacheron Constantin’s Overseas Self-Winding Ultra-Thin gives the integrated-bracelet sports watch a quieter profile. Reference 2500V/220P-H028 measures 39.5mm across and just 7.35mm thick, pairing a 950-platinum case and bracelet with a salmon dial. The edition is limited to 255 pieces.

The dial balances a sunburst-satin centre with a lacquered outer minute track. White-gold hands and markers carry blue Super-LumiNova; the two-hand display leaves the warm surface unusually open. The familiar bezel and alternating polished and satin-finished bracelet keep that restraint recognisably Overseas.

Inside, the self-winding Calibre 2550 combines a platinum micro-rotor with an 80-hour reserve in a movement only 2.4mm thick. Visible through sapphire, it runs at 3Hz and comprises 153 parts and 26 jewels. The watch carries the Hallmark of Geneva.

Water resistance is 50 metres. Beige rubber and alligator-leather straps supplement the interchangeable platinum bracelet, whose white-gold triple-folding clasp completes a watch that makes thinness its defining design choice.
