What to know

Zenith and USM have created a one-off DEFY Chronograph for TimeForArt, replacing the collaboration’s usual coloured dial with a mirror-polished surface. Bright details remain, including a miniature USM ball joint at the tip of the blue chronograph hand. Its 37 mm steel case and ladder bracelet retain the compact geometry of the existing collaboration.

The automatic El Primero 400 runs at 5 Hz and has a stated 55-hour reserve. A unique mirrored USM cabinet accompanies the watch, with storage for up to 24 timepieces. Zenith says the pair will be auctioned at Phillips New York on 5 December 2026, benefiting Swiss Institute. This is a unique auction creation rather than a regular-production release.
