KUOE Royal Smith 90-006 grows to 39mm: the ivory dial edition

For collectors who admire KUOE's Royal Smith 90-006 but find the usual 35mm case too restrained, the Kyoto maker has introduced a 39mm alternative. Launched August 21 in ivory and black, the Large keeps the Royal Smith's distinctive waffle dial and mid-century-inspired applied markers while giving them more breathing room beneath the crystal.

This ivory reference, rs90006c-sv-iv-large, is deliberately classical: warm cream texture, gold-toned tapered hands and indexes, a polished steel case and brown Italian leather. It is 10.8mm thick and 46mm from lug to lug. The larger diameter does not turn the watch into a sporty chronograph; it simply makes the dial more expressive on modern wrists.

Inside is Citizen Miyota's high-beat Calibre 90S5 automatic, offering approximately 42 hours of reserve at 28,800 vibrations per hour. A domed sapphire crystal and 100m water resistance make the elegant watch suitable for regular use. The introductory Japanese price was ¥88,900.
