What to know
Junghans introduced the Aquaris family in February 2026 as a decisive move into heavy-duty aquatic sports watches. Its 46.9mm cushion-shaped stainless-steel case and 500-metre water resistance make it very different from the understated Bauhaus-associated designs for which the brand is widely known.
The watch’s two screw-down crowns are sheltered by a central case-flank protector. The upper crown at two o’clock operates a counterclockwise-only internal rotating dive ring; the lower crown handles winding and setting. Orange and green diver variants sit alongside blue and red interpretations of the new case.

This is industrial design at full volume: the external case protects the controls, while the actual timing scale lives beneath the crystal. The division of labour between the smooth outer architecture and rotating inner instrument ring gives the Aquaris its distinctive presence.
