What to know
The 2026 Hudson 38 MK5 is more than a dial refresh. Swedish-based MAEN rebuilt its original dive-watch concept with slimmer steel architecture, drilled lugs, a box-domed sapphire crystal and a polished ceramic rotating bezel.
The black textured dial keeps a legible instrument-like character, punctuated by restrained red accents. Its 38mm diameter and 47mm lug-to-lug span are designed for a broad range of wrists; the case is water-resistant to 300 metres.

The Swiss automatic La Joux-Perret G100 movement offers approximately 68 hours of reserve. An adjustable clasp and more generous lume complete the functional improvements.
Announced in January 2026, the MK5 is a persuasive example of Scandinavian product design as careful iterative refinement rather than visual austerity.
