What to know
Piaget has brought a traditional high-horology complication to its contemporary Polo line. Announced in late August 2026, the Polo Minute Repeater is a 48mm white-gold watch just 9.3mm thick, with an expressive blue hand-guilloché dial revealing part of the striking mechanism.
A sliding control on the case at nine o’clock activates the minute repeater, which sounds the hours, quarters and individual minutes. The exposed regulator and carefully finished movement turn the acoustic complication into a visible performance as well as an audible one.

Piaget's automatic calibre 1290P stands only 4.8mm tall despite incorporating a minute repeater. It uses a platinum micro-rotor and offers about 40 hours of reserve, with the movement visible through the sapphire back.
Reference G0A51038 is a numbered watch, with just five pieces planned for manufacture in 2026 rather than a confirmed lifetime production limit. It places Piaget's specialty in very thin watchmaking at the centre of one of horology's most intricate complications.
